1. Donate

habitat for humanityYour monetary donations and gifts enable us to continue our mission of breaking the cycle of poverty by providing affordable homes.  Also, it is important to donate building materials, furniture, and/or appliances to Habitat for Humanity.  We operate a ReStore in which the proceeds benefit house construction.






2. Volunteer

volunteer in richmondJoin us in the fight for affordable housing!  We have countless opportunities for volunteers that range from working on site to working in the ReStore.  With your help, we can keep construction costs lower and have a greater impact on the community.






3. Advocate

Spread the word about the need to have affordable housing!  World Habitat Day, Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, is dedicated to making people aware of the need for better shelter around the globe.







4. Attend one of our special events

Throughout the year, there are various fundraisers, volunteer efforts, and faith opportunities.  For example, once a month, we have a Habi Hour which consists of drink specials and complimentary appetizers and some of the proceeds will be donated to the organization.  It is a great way to have fun and give back!  You can find opportunities like this on our website,





5. Follow, Like, Pin

6. Women Build

women build banner 11[1]Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that encourages women to make a difference by building homes and communities.  The program seeks to encourage women volunteers to further the home-building mission of Habitat for Humanity.  Women Build is not about excluding anyone. 7. Youth Program
