Due to COVID-19, our employees are not able to go inside residences when picking up donations. All donations must be moved to an outside area prior to pickup.

Corporate office furniture (except desk chairs and filing cabinets)

Unframed mirrors or glass

Sleeper sofas or partial sectional sofas

Fluorescent lights

Entertainment centers designed to house tube TV’s

Tube or plasma TV’s

Unattached used faucets

Stone countertops

Used shower doors

Exercise equipment and pianos

Mattresses, box springs, linens

Window blinds

Clothes and books

Infant and medical equipment

Opened paint or any chemical

*The items accepted at any given ReStore can vary for many reasons. Each ReStore must consider safety, local requirements, and their capacity to process, store, and sell donations. Donation bays may be staffed by volunteers.

How to Donate


Drop It Off

We love drop off donations! They go the furthest in helping us fulfill our mission.

Donations may be dropped off Tuesday through Saturday 10AM – 4PM. Upon arrival, if you don’t see an associate, please give us a call at (804) 299-4552 (Chesterfield store) or 804-228-1305 (Richmond store) for assistance.

Please do not leave items outside of our bay! They get ruined by weather and take up dumpster space — costing us money we could use to serve the community!


Request a Pickup

If your items are over $150 in value and your pick up date is flexible, you may be eligible for a free pickup! 

Please review our acceptable items above or by clicking here. Afterwards, you can request a pick up here.

You will be contacted with 72 hours. Expect a time frame of 1-2 weeks out for your pickup date.

The pick up window is between 10 AM to 3 PM on your scheduled day and the drivers will call you 30 minutes before their arrival.
