Bel Green Begins New Campaign to Benefit
Families of Richmond Metro Habitat for Humanity

After breaking ground on the newest section of Bel Green Villas at Brickshire, builder Joe Hill of Bel Arbor Builders and Village Builders has begun a new sales campaign. That campaign is based upon the community’s low maintenance feature and the builder’s offering $10,000 for an old but functioning lawn mower.  After a homeowner closes on a new Bel Green home, the lawn mower will be donated to Richmond Metro Habitat for Humanity. Hill states, “partnering with Richmond Habitat demonstrates our commitment to the community not only through enhanced home and landscape design, but by providing a new partner to the owners of Habitat homes.”

“New home owners with Richmond Habitat receive a variety of maintenance and repair classes in preparation for the responsibility of owning a home,” said Leisha G. LaRiviere, Interim Executive Director. The number one most requested item from Richmond Habitat families is a lawn mower.

Bel Green is located 20 minutes east of Richmond off Interstate 64.  It is a low maintenance community featuring old world architecture. Visit Bel Green at their website address www.belgreenvillas.com or call 804-966-5999 for more information.
